This is just a copy of the twitlonger I posted on my twitter earlier but I figured I should share this here too in case anyone's interested in what's been going on with me!
I'll keep this one short. As of last week, I'm done with my education. I'm still waiting to get my project graded but it's all done and presented, so that's behind me! So fo now I'm all about job-hunting and whatever else I'll do with my free time. I also finally got an entire night's worth of sleep for the first time in I don't know how long, so yeah, life's looking up!
As far as streaming goes, starting next week, I plan to get mad jiggy with that. First thing first, the biggest and most important change is that I will have an ACTUAL SCHEDULE, and a good American friendly one at that! From now on, streams will happen from around 6PM to 11PM EST / 3PM to 8PM PST. This has always been my biggest gripe with my streams - I used to start them at 8AM my time (Central Europe) and I'd get quite a number of people dropping in to say hi, just to leave soon after because of my inconvenient schedule, or, arguably worse, they'd stick around and I'd keep them awake unnecessarily. Now that the opportunity for a better one has arisen, this is just simply not gonna be an issue anymore! In addition to that, I also upped my audio quality and added a bunch of new features, so that's gonna be good!
So do I have actual plans for content! You bet your luscious badonk I do!
First of all, art commissions will be back. More about that below though. To be completely frank, commissions make me money, so ofc I'll prioritize my time for them. Depending on how many I get, they will occupy a solid portion of my stream time. But apart from that, I also want to work on personal projects (graphics for my Twitch page, original content, fanart, possible request streams, etc).
I also want to put an equal amount of time into gaming streams though, since I realize that those are something that can keep people's interest more easily, and I do also really enjoy them myself! However, I will put more thought and planning into them than I had done before. Not to say that that hasn't been the case before with some themed stuff but I've also had my fair share of moments where I'd just decide to start games like Rain World, BotW, TP, Tropical Freeze, Cuphead, and AA:I2 because I felt like it but then failed to squeeze them into my schedule from then on because they basically happened at random, effectively discontinuing those. To improve this, I will always have a schedule for the next week ready on my page. People who've been keeping up with my streams shortly before my hiatus are probably aware that I'm about halfway through a Platinum Nuzlocke. That one will be finished first but I definitely want to do more playthroughs in the same spirit! For instance, I already got a pretty special one for HeartGold lined up and routed that I'm really looking foward to - and it's not just your basic af run-of-the-mill Nuzlocke challenge either!
Now here's the thing - In addition to just having a good and productive time, my goal is to get partnered by the end of they year - this means I will have to get to and maintain an average viewer count of 75, which is a super ambitious goal, especially considering that, in the past, I've peaked only at around 40-45, but I feel like with enough consistency and my new schedule, it actually could be very much possible.
Of course I will not be able to stream 7 days a week without breaks, especially when life just so happens to be happening, but at least for now the rule of thumb is that daily streams are gonna be the norm and on-stream days will be the outliers.
So as I mentioned, I will use those streams to get back to commissions. While that does mean I'll open them again soon, I'ma contact people who've been on my waiting list for a while first. I did however update my commission sheet, which can be found over here -> bit.ly/2t11uwQ

And that's about it. Let's make this a good year!
